Seniors are great for mid-career professionals who are looking for a writer to help them take the next step.

Managers have a great deal of experience in recruiting and resume writing and typically work with new managers and executives looking to take the next step in their careers.

Partners have the most experience, typically working with senior leaders and executives. They’ve helped thousands of clients over the years.

If a cancellation request is received before your first phone call, you may be issued a full refund, less processing and any administrative fees incurred by Optim or the writer.

After you hire a writer, your resume writer will connect with you via email by the next business day (keep an eye on spam). Most resume writers reply within just a few hours. If you haven’t heard from your writer by then, contact hello@optimcareers.com.

Typically it takes 1-2 weeks to complete a resume depending on your schedule and availability and the number of edits purchased.

Most customers finish their resumes in 7-10 days.

Results vary based on each individual’s background and job targets. Your writer will help you identify the right job target for your resume and help you get the best results possible.

On average, 98% of our writer’s clients land jobs within 90 days. The majority of them experience a 75% response rate to their resume when used correctly.

In the rare instance that you do not receive an interview, we encourage you to work with your writer to identify any possible changes.

After you hire a writer, they will reach out to you within 1 business day to schedule your phone or video call.

Depending on the level of writer you selected, that call will be between 30-minutes to 60-minutes long.

During that session, your writer will interview you in a safe environment where you can speak candidly and openly.

Within one week, your writer will deliver your new resume to you.

Some writers may include an additional session to review your resume with them or use email to collaborate on edits. Each writer has their own unique process for edits.

For your initial session, your writer will either call you on your phone or send you a video invite. You will have direct email communication with your writer after that until services are completed.

You have up to two weeks after receiving your initial draft to submit edit requests to your writer. After the two-week timeline, writers are not required to make edits but may elect to do so if you treat them nicely. We do encourage you to reach out to your writer if at any time you are experiencing challenges or need help with a minor edit.

An edit is defined as changes to text or shifts in the content that are slight and/or still directed toward the same job roles and industry. Substantial changes such as a change of job focus, target audience, or anything that requires complete rethinking or re-strategizing are considered a rewrite and will incur extra charges as well as a revised project due date.

Depending on the level of service you purchased, you may submit one round of edit requests/questions to your writer or have unlimited edits for two weeks.

Once a resume draft is completed, we will not issue a refund, except for the grounds stated above.

If you choose not to finish a service after it is started, you may forfeit your payment.

Once the final version of the resume is delivered, we can not issue a refund. Should this issue arise, please communicate with your resume writer to work toward a solution. This resolves nearly every case.

If you are not satisfied with your initial call, contact hello@optimcareers.com within 24 hours of your session and we will issue you a 70% refund less processing fees.

If you are not satisfied with your first draft, contact hello@optimcareers.com within 24 hours of receiving your draft and we will issue a 50% refund less processing fees.
